Gudmund Grov is a Senior Scientist in Cyber Security at the Norwegian
Defence Research Establishment (FFI) and an Associate Professor II at
the University of Oslo.
He was previously an Assistant Professor at Heriot-Watt University
(Edinburgh, UK), where he also received his PhD, and has held research
positions at Edinburgh, Heriot-Watt and Newcastle universities. His
current research focuses on intrusion detection, in particular
data-driven methods utilising machine learning, and security
architecture. He has previously worked on a wide range of research
topics, including automated reasoning, formal methods, and programming
languages, and has more than 50 peer-reviewed publications to date.
